Originally released in 2002, this was Nirvanas first best-of album a superb compilation featuring 14 classic songs, including Smells Like Teen Spirit, Come As You Are and All Apologies. Nirvana was released following the settlement of a long-standing legal dispute between Cobains widow, Courtney Love, and surviving Nirvana members Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl. Much of the dispute centered around the song You Know Youre Right, which was recorded during the bands final studio session in January 1994. Theres also a rare version of Been A Son and a great remix of Pennyroyal Tea. Pressed on 150-gram black vinyl.
The deluxe 2-LP edition is pressed on 180-gram vinyl and cut at 45RPM. Its packaged in a furnace black gatefold jacket and includes a digital download.
