Megadeths final studio album arrives in early 2026 and serves as the definitive closing chapter to one of the most influential catalogs in heavy music. The album is anchored by two high-impact singles: lead track Tipping Point and follow-up I Dont Care. Plus, theres a very special bonus track: a reimagined version of Ride The Lightning, which Dave Mustaine co-wrote with Metallicas James Hetfield, Cliff Burton and Lars Ulrich, and was the title track from Metallicas 1984 album.

As I come full circle on the career of a lifetime, the decision to include Ride The Lightning, a song I co-wrote with James, Lars, and Cliff, was to pay my respects to where my career first started, Mustaine says. The album is being released via Mustaines Tradecraft imprint in partnership with Frontiers Label Groups new BLKIIBLK label.
