The second of two concept albums, The Parallax II: Future Sequence, was originally released on October 9, 2012. The first record, the EP The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues, was released on April 12, 2011. The bands sixth studio album, Paul Waggoner and Dustie Waring (guitars) described it as being their favorite release up to now, being mature, dynamic and with various metal influences from 1970s progressive rock, to jazz and fusion.
