Beatrice Andrew’s debut album from Color Red, ‘Skin And Bones’, is a masterfully written and produced release featuring the production prowess of Jim Tullio of Butcher Boy Studios (Levon Helm, Billy Corgan). Although Beatrice is only in high school, her lyricism and soft vocal melodies echo the wisdom and emotional journey of someone beyond her years. The title track of the album takes a stripped-down and folk-focused approach to close out a sonically pleasant, yet melancholy, collection from the young songwriter.
