GLENN MILLER Glenn Miller’s Uptown Hall Gang (1976 UK 16-track LP featuring songs recorded in Paris in 1944 & 1945, including four with the legendary Django Reinhardt. The Uptown Hall Gang was one of several small subdivisions of the main Glenn Miller Orchestra, this unit being a sextet led by Mel Powell, with Peanuts Hucko, Bernie Previn, Joe Shulman, Carmen Mastren & Ray McKinley, picture sleeve. The sleeve shows some light shelfwear & discolouration, but the vinyl remains excellentwith just the odd light surface scuff to show for its thirty years.
