The Motet’s Joey Porter takes a departure from his usual funk-fueled approach with his new project Spacewalk. Focusing on reggae rhythms and dub grooves, Porter enlisted the help of fellow Motet bandmate Garrett Sayers and Thievery Corporation’s Jeff Franca for the group’s debut single “Pink Noise”. The instrumental track maintains top-notch musicianship while cultivating a laid-back vibe with a futuristic feel.
