CANNED HEAT & JOHN LEE HOOKER The Best Of Hooker ‘N’ Heat (1988 French-manufactured 10-track vinyl LP – this great compilation showcases the highlights from a meeting of two musical giants: John Lee Hooker and Canned Heat, who originally recorded and released a collaborative double album in 1971 on the Liberty label [becoming increasingly hard to find], and was the last album to feature the talents of Alan Wilson, who died shortly after the session’s completion. Housed in a wonderful picture sleeve, featuring the artwork from the original album and comprehensive sleeve notes by Les Fancourt. The sleeve shows some minor edgewear, whilst the vinyl shows minimal signs of play; remaining in a strong Excellent condition SEE234)
