Recorded in Los Angeles with a quartet of seasoned studio musicians, the album strips arrangements back to late-night blues textures, allowing space and subtlety to frame performances of remarkable control and depth. Highlights include Lost And Lookin’, Mean Old World, Little Red Rooster and Shake, Rattle And Roll, alongside Cooke’s re-imagining of Nobody Knows The Trouble I’ve Seen.
