THE HORACE SILVER QUINTET & TRIO Blowin’ The Blues Away (1975 US stereo issue of the 1959 7-track LP, on the blue with white ‘b’ logo Blue Note labels with RVG STEREO stampers on the dead-wax of both sides; one of Horace’s best efforts released during a key year in jazz, recorded by Van Gelder & including the rip-roaring title tune. Blue Mitchell, Junior Cook, Eugene Taylor & Louis Hayes all perform, heavy pasted picture sleeve reproducing the original album cover with deletion corner clip. The sleeve shows moderate wear with a small splt to the bottom seam and the vinyl is Excellent with little sign of play BST84017)
