The title says it all about this group’s whimsical approach to music on their second CD. In this instrumental stew of western swing, jazz, and blues, these corrugators bend and twist the sounds of down-home into a blissful mix of songs. The instrumentation of guitar, bass, piano, organ, and drums swing like there’s no tomorrow.
Interrupted only by the periodic percolating of improvisational passages, these “Goof Off Experts” approach serious grooves with the playful attitude of the class clown.
