Inspired by the life and mythos of actor Dennis Hopper, Mike Scott and The Waterboys created an expansive tribute album to one of American popular cultures most compelling figures. Drawn first to Hoppers films, Scott also discovered Hoppers talent as a photographer and was moved by the way he captured the world he saw. This deeply conceptual set of original songs features high-profile guestsincluding Bruce Springsteen, Fiona Apple, and Steve Earleand even includes a song for each of Hoppers wives. The album was self-produced at Playloud Studio.
