Description
Professor Angel Dust has led many lives. Musician, producer, DJ, promoter, educator….he was responsible for the now legendary Bongo Lounge party in Barcelona, and one of the first to explore the electronic side of latin music. Born in Mexico City, he begins studying music at age 5. At 18 he moves to Toronto, where he goes on to graduate in Experimental Art from O.C.A., right in the middle of the post-punk scene. In 1990 he relocates to Barcelona, where his career as a musician and DJ really takes off, and where he creates his alter-ego – Professor Angel Dust.
Cuervos Stomp is his first production for Red Night Recordings, and in it you can hear a lifetime’s worth of influences, from latin and house to punk and industrial. We are thrilled to count him as a friend and collaborator.
