From Barcelona, LOS NEGATIVES stood out within the sixties revival scene of the 80s for their careful image, lyrics and exciting songs. With their first album, “Piknik Kaleidocopic”, they combined pop, psychedelia, garage, beat and folk-rock in a masterful way, creating a particular lysergic universe that continues to captivate 40 years after its release.
This 40th anniversary reissue of “Piknik Kaleidoscope” respects the original artwork of the album but for the first time the color on the back cover has been used that the group really wanted and that the original label did not respect. In addition, the audio has been remastered by the original producer of the album, Enric Lindo, together with the members of Los Negativos.
Also included is an 8-page trilingual booklet (Spanish, Catalan and English) with informative notes by the journalist and official biographer of the group lex Or and rare photos / memorabilia.
