Description
Fonk Schwee puts the bass lines of Bootsy Collins, the drumming of Mitch Mitchell, and the vocals of James Brown in a blender and whips up an epic concoction of funk and psychedelic rock. To add to the depth of the track, the intermittent vocal cries give the tune an extra shot of energy to pump up the dance party. The band routed through Color Red Studios while on tour in late 2019 and worked with Eddie Roberts to engineer and produce their session. Fonk Schwee also marks the introduction of Lee Popa into Color Reds production team as the tracks mixing engineer and longtime friend of the band.
