Westside Boogaloo explores the 60s boogaloo soul-inspired side of Cecil Moses & The SGs. The track was effortlessly constructed through collaboration with Oli Klomp bringing in a tom-tom-based drum grove, Marc Hager & Colin Higgins hashing out the chord progression and melody, and Bobby Heinemann putting the icing on the cake with a boogaloo bass line.
