Description
Serengeti showcases The Echo Systems keen ability to paint ambient soundscapes that tap into both ancient and modern influences. The spacey meditation explores Middle Eastern modes in the bass and guitar interplay with layers of subtle percussion giving nod to the rhythms of the East African plains. The group features three of Color Reds primary music producers Mike Tallman (guitar) and Josh Fairman (bass), and Jeff Franca (drums) who came together in summer 2018 to write and record a catalog of original music. Serengeti also features Joe Tatton of The New Mastersounds on organ to give the song a thick layer of padding building up to the end.
