Description
Fossora is Bjrks tenth album. The album was partially inspired by the 2018 death of Bjrks mother, Hildur Rna Hauksdttir, particularly the songs Sorrowful Soil and Ancestress. The album features contributions from American singer Serpentwithfeet, Bjrks two children Sindri and sadra, Indonesian dance duo Gabber Modus Operandi, and a bass clarinet sextet.
