Bob Marley and The Wailers did exactly that after Sly and The Family Stone kicked them off their shared 1973 West Coast tour (allegedly because Bob and the band outperformed Sly). The drama didnt get to the reggae rockers, though. They headed to the iconic Capitol Studios to jam on tracks like Get Up Stand Upand Stir It Up.
