  Each release from Craven Faults has added new layers to a distinctive mythology, channelling global currents in experimental music through a distinctly northern lens. Sidings continues that exploration from the echoes of post-industrial architecture to the resonances of classic studios between Los Angeles and Rochdale, 1952 to 1980.

  Its journey begins in an isolated community formed around a monumental feat of engineering fourteen tunnels and twenty-two viaducts carved to open up the north and ends in a single enclosed field on the moor in 1858. A record about routes and residues, Sidings finds meaning in infrastructure, in repetition, and in the hidden detail that rewards patient listening.
