The Cures landmark fourth studio album, originally released in 1982, has been remastered by Robert Smith and pressed on heavyweight 180-gram black vinyl. The recording sessions saw the group on the brink of collapse, with heavy drug use, band in-fighting and leader Smiths depression fueling the albums musical and lyrical content. Pornography is arguably the peak of The Cures early, darker sound before they switched to a more pop orientation.
