Elegy: Chapter II rounds off the Edge Of Sanity reissue campaign with a carefully assembled survey of rare and archival material spanning 1990 to 2003. Compiled by Dan Swan, the set pulls together pre-production demos, remixes, re-recordings, alternate versions and other hard-to-find recordings, giving a broader view of the band’s development between the core studio albums. Rather than functioning as a loose odds-and-ends collection, Elegy: Chapter II has the feel of a proper companion volume, moving from early alternate cuts and remixed material to a substantial run of 1993 pre-production recordings.
