The Breaks is a new project featuring Eddie Roberts (The New Mastersounds), Robert Walter (The Greyboy Allstars, Mike Gordon), and Santon Moore (Galactic). The band brings together instrumental dynamos from the jazz and funk scenes into a cohesive, contemporary unit. “Hasheesh” brings a sound rooted in the tradition of late-60s organ trios and hard-hitting boogaloo. The new single pushes this classic sound forward with deep-pocket rhythms, tight arrangements, and fearless improvisation.
