DJ and producer Doug Gmezs love of music began at an early age. A native New Yorker of Colombian roots, his love for drums and sophisticated melodies led him to embrace the path of DJing and production. These roots in the context of 1980s NYC are the elements that have made him one of the top Afro-House producers in the scene today. In ShwizZs Hit The Deck he heard echoes of Latin Soul, of Carlos Santanas guitar licks, and transformed it into a percussion-filled dancefloor anthem. We are thrilled to have Doug Gmez in our extended family.
