IAN MATTHEWS Tigers Will Survive (Rare 1972 UK first press 11-track stereo LP on the small ‘swirl’ Vertigo label, housed in the original fully textured gatefold picture sleeve with inverted ‘swirl’ die-cut inner. This example was one part of the BBC Gramophone Library, and has a barcoded sticker on the front and a strip down the front where a log of play has been written, along with three other BBC related stickers on the reverse and ‘BBC Gramophone Library’ stamp on the label. Thesleeve surprisingly, has just a little light edge wear, and from what we can see was taken from the library just a few times with a small amount of log data written, and has ‘No. 2’ stamped at the top and has a number 2 hand written on the front. The labels have just a couple of very light spindle marks and the vinyl remains very clean and in a near mint condition. An unusual example of this rare pressing)
