KING CRIMSON Penn State University 29 June 1974 (Record Store Day 2026 UK/EU limited edition 10-track double album 2-LP pressed on 200-gram audiophile black vinyl. Recorded at Penn State University on 29 June 1974, this live KingCrimson set captures the Robert Fripp, David Cross, John Wetton and Bill Bruford line-up during the run of shows surrounding Starless And Bible Black. For many listeners, this period marks one of the most intense stages inthe band’s live evolution, with the group pushing its material into a heavier, more guitar-led direction on stage. Drawn from a multi-track recording and newly available on vinyl for the first time, this exclusive release is presented across two LPs cut by Jason Mitchell at Loud Mastering. Housed in a gatefold sleeve with new sleeve notes by King Crimson biographer Sid Smith. It also includes 21st Century Schizoid Man from the band’s Central Park performance two days later, one of the final recordings by this incarnation of the group before the transition into the Red period.
