LAURIE ANDERSON & SEXMOB Let X=X Tour (Live) (2026 UK/EU limited edition 23-track triple album 3-LP pressed on 140-gram black vinyl, recorded live during Laurie Anderson’s 2023 tour with the jazz ensemble Sexmob. Produced by Laurie Anderson, the album features 23 performances drawn from across Anderson’s catalogue, newly arranged with Sexmob’s expanded instrumentation: Steven Bernstein and Briggan Krauss on brass, Kenny Wollesen on percussion, Douglas Wieselman on winds and guitar,and Tony Scherr on bass. The set also includes “Junior Dad,” originally by Lou Reed and Metallica. The cover and interior packaging feature paintings by Anderson, adding a visual-art dimension to this substantial live edition. Performances include “From the Air,” “Let X=X,” “O Superman,” “Only an Expert,” and “How to Feel Sad Without Being Sad,” with Sexmob bringing a more textural, brass-led, rhythmically flexible setting to Anderson’s spoken-word, song, and performance pieces.
