TAUK guitarist Matt Jalbert releases his first solo single, “Mild Plus“, from his upcoming debut album release, ‘Sauce Buffet’. Jalbert channels his signature blend of prog-rock, jazz, and jam band stylings with featured funky organ performances from Wil Blades. “Mild Plus” feels laid-back and dreamy, yet has a driving rhythm throughout with nods to instrumental groups like Arc de Soleil and Surprise Chef. Jalbert shares some insight into the single, stating “I wanted to have a slower song on the record that just felt like a truck driving down the highway. It’s somewhere between there and heading into outer-space.”
