A nice summers breeze blows out of the West today and brings with it the first track from Ryan Baines debut LP for Curation Records. Co-written with Sam Blasucci (Mapache), the song has a hazy afternoon air, a stumble of permanent summer underpinned by the glare off the water. Here, theyre twisting Ryans songs like driftwood into beautiful shapes. The temperament on the upcoming LP,Morning Flight, embraces 70s rhythms and 90s pulses, but here Baine and Blasucci find themselves at peace in the firelight linger of 70s soul and AOR balladry.
