On their fourth studio album, Magpie, Vancouvers Peach Pit remain defined by their guitar-driven indie rock, soft-spoken vocals, and melancholic lyrics. The album has some wonderful moving guitar and light but pushing drums layered across a soundscape of synths and reverb. The lyrics are catchy and the production is clean.
