Originally released in 1977, Equal Rights stands as one of Peter Tosh’s defining solo statements following the dissolution of The Wailers. Opening with a reworked Get Up, Stand Up, the album combines militant lyricism with tightly produced roots reggae, including Stepping Razor, African and the title track Equal Rights. This edition is remastered and expanded incorporating rare and previously unreleased dub mixes. Housed inside an individually numbered linen-laminate textured picture sleeve with a 4-page booklet and hype sticker. Recommended)
