Description
Douglas Fir seeds from Oregon and California were flown with the crew on Apollo 14 on it’s mission to the moon in 1971. Portland got it’s very own Moon Tree, planted from one of the seedlings from space at the Western Forestry Center in Portland, OR in 1976.
