Sagor Som Leder Mot Slutet is a Swedish instrumental postrock/postmetal band craftingimmersive, narrativedriven soundscapes that balance heaviness with fragility. Independent since2014, the band has released four acclaimed studio albums – I, II, II and IV – and composed theawardwinning soundtrack for the film Iris. Their dynamic, atmospheric performances have earnedthem recognition at festivals such as VIVID Post Rock Festival and Dunk! Festival, establishingthem as one of Scandinavias most compelling voices in modern postrock.

IV is a completely revamped take on their instrumental storytelling – progressive, crushing andheavily rhythmic, while still preserving the Nordic atmosphere that defines the band. Inspired bythe raw, unrelenting nature of earth, stone and mountainscapes – these elements are reflected in thealbums themes and overall tone.To support this vision, the album was produced by Martin Mileros, mixed by Piotr Turek ofTelepathy, and mastered by Machine from the US, resulting in a more modern, powerful, andimpactful sound.
