DJ Williams Shots Fired puts on their boots and plays the role of The Cowboy in their second Color Red single Sunset Trails. The cinematic, future western funk tune pays homage to black and white westerns Williams used to watch with his father. Shots Fired leaves a modern imprint on these classic visuals with hip-hop vibes, cascading horn lines, and driving motifs that could easily fit into a Tarantino film while weaving in influences of Dick Dales iconic surf rock and Theodore Shapiros quintessential film scoring. Sunset Trails will be followed up with two additional singles and a full EP coming out on Color Red in fall 2020.
