Description
Swaggerland – Spawned in the Gadigal swamps and dried on the harbour breeze, these songs rumble in from a timeless space. A whisper of paperbark, the crash of a rainstorm and the sparkle of antipodean stars.
With an instinct to kick against the tin, this band takes risks, makes adventure and runs amok with the taste of danger.
Like children, we pale strangers dance about this country as if we own it all. We do not, yet on we go. A blithe nation. Cavalier. Careless. Unconcerned. This is Swaggerland.
Recorded and Mixed by Tim Kevin at Tempe River Studio
Co-produced by Tim Kevin and Bronwyn Eather

“Swaggerland Its a soundtrack to a post-apocalyptic movie with all the beauty-in-decay that that entails. Its melancholic, yetat times soaring, the heights still tantalisingly within reach. The arrangements feel like a tapestry – subtle but beautiful, slightly magical with glisten and shimmer. The more I listen, the more I become aware of additional layers and interplay.I discovered something that was subtle but beautiful in the top end. Some elements feel like theyre hinted at, rather than overtly spoken, so theres always some mystery lurking. In the end its a f**king great record really, and its hard to be clearer than that. – William Bowden, Mastering Engineer
