• Soul On Your Side is the debut (and only) studio album by The Rhythm Makers, released in 1976 on Vigor Records. The Bronx-based funk / disco outfit crafted a blend of soulful grooves, clavinets, slap bass and sparse vocals. The title track shares DNA with GQs later hit Disco Nights, retaining its rawer edges and lyrical urgency.

  The album leans into dancefloor sensibility with deep funk undertones.
