It was produced and mixed by Ty Segall at Sonic Ranch Studio and features a raw, urgent punk aesthetic recorded live to tape. The album runs 13 tracks across roughly 30 minutes, delivering a mix of rage, resilience and incisive social critique.
Upchuck use Im Nice Now as both a sonic blow and a statement. Tracks like Tired and Forgotten Token confront exhaustion, grief and racial erasure head-on, while other songs like Un Momento bring in rhythmic variation and bilingual vocals, pushing punks boundaries without sacrificing intensity.
