Description
Original soundtrack to Wes Andersons new film The Phoenician Scheme, in theaters May 30, 2025. The soundtrack blends Alexandre Desplats original score with a mix of classical and jazz recordings. Classical highlights include Stravinsky, Bach, and Beethoven, with a handful of Desplats compositions for the film referencing Stravinskys 1910 ballet LOiseau de feu (The Firebird). Jazz highlights include Gene Krupas Drum Boogie, Glenn Millers big band standard A String of Pearls, and Mud Bug by the Fuasi Abdul-Khaliq Sextet, recorded specifically for the film. The vinyl package includes art from the film, notes by Alexandre Desplat and Wes Anderson and is pressed on Sea Foam color vinyl.
