VELVET UNDERGROUND The Velvet Underground & Nico (1971 UK issue of the classic 1967 11-track stereo LP on the blue & gold ‘yin-yang’ MGM label, housed in a US manufactured gatefold pasted picture sleeve with peelable banana on the front & thecustom made UK catalogue number sticker on the back. Unpeeled examples of the Andy Warhol sleeve are in demand & this is a great example. The banana shows creases that indicates it has been partially unpeeled in the past, then put back in place. The sleeve shows ring/shelfwear (mainly to rear) with medium discolouration to edges with all text appearing legible – AND with the rare Headhunters inner! The vinyl is graded Very Good with a few light hairlines – not affecting play)
