XTC Live Boots Official Bootleg | Live At Emerald City 1981 (Record Store Day 2026 UK/EU limited edition 20-track double album 2-LP pressed on 200-gram audiophile black vinyl. Live At Emerald City 1981 launches XTC’s new official Live Boots series with a concert recorded at Emerald City, Cherry Hill, New Jersey on 17 April 1981. Capturing the band at full live pace, the set documents a period when XTC had developed into a particularly sharp and fast-moving stage outfit, just before live performance disappeared from the band’s story altogether. Released exclusively for Record Store Day 2026, this special edition marks the first time the concert has been officially available on vinyl. It is cut by Jason Mitchell at Loud Mastering, with new notes from all four original band members: Andy Partridge, Colin Moulding, Dave Gregory and Terry Chambers. As the first title in the planned Live Boots archive series, it opens that run with one of the band’s best-known live recordings. Highly recommended)
