Originally released in 2003, Fever To Tell announced Yeah Yeah Yeahs asone of the most electrifying new bands of the early 2000s. Frontwoman Karen O’s unrestrained vocals – snarling, seductive, and unpredictable – cut across Nick Zinner’s jagged guitar riffs and Brian Chase’s thunderous drumming, creating a visceral garage-punk sound that made an instant impact. Produced by David Andrew Sitek, the album features the ferocious singles “Date With the Night”, “Pin”, and “Y Control”, alongside the unexpectedly tender ballad “Maps”, which became the group’s breakthrough hit.
